Kachinta Appears in Exclusive Event Costume!
The mascot of the Film Village, Kachinta, will appear in a special limited-edition outfit just for this event!
In this summer celebration, Kachinta has been appointed the honorary role of “God of the Film Village”.
Join the greeting event and meet Kachinta in this unique costume!
Plus, guests who take a photo with Kachinta will receive a special Kachinta card illustrated by artist Hōju Isayama!

A nostalgic dagashi (traditional snack) shop, “Uzumasa Dagashi Shop”, is now open!
Stocked with all kinds of classic treats from the good old days — pick your favorites and enjoy with friends and family!
Right next to the shop is a special “Traditional Play” corner!
Try your hand at old-fashioned toys like kendama, spinning tops, and string games.
Both kids and adults can enjoy making fun, nostalgic summer memories together!

A colorful wagasa (traditional Japanese umbrella) photo spot is here!
At night, the vibrant wagasa are beautifully illuminated against the backdrop of an Edo-style town, creating a magical and dreamlike atmosphere completely different from the daytime.

The highlight of the night — a participatory festival parade begins!
The sound of a real conch shell echoes through the air as the festive mikoshi (portable shrine) parade kicks off in full swing!
Put on an original happi coat, join the fun, and dance the cheerful Hyottoko dance with everyone as you march through the village!
We’re also looking for participants to help carry the mikoshi!
Once the parade reaches the plaza, it’s time for a grand group dance finale!
And in the climax… some suspicious characters may be waiting!?

A stamp rally visiting 8 shrines throughout the village!
In this event, Kachinta has been appointed as “Yatagarasu,” the God of the Film Village.
To honor him, 8 special shrines dedicated to Kachinta will be set up throughout the village.
Just like a traditional goshuin pilgrimage, visit each shrine and collect stamps as you go!
Those who complete the rally by visiting all 8 shrines will receive a special wooden-style Kachinta card.
Who knows — paying your respects to Kachinta might just bring you good fortune…!

【諫山 宝樹】(諫山恵実)
Hōju Isayama (Real name: Emi Isayama)
Born in Osaka, currently based in Kyoto.
Graduated in 2003 from Kyoto City University of Arts with a degree in Nihonga (Japanese painting), and completed her master’s degree in Conservation and Restoration in 2005 at the same university.
While still in graduate school, she began working at Toei Kyoto Studio, contributing to the production of fusuma (sliding door) paintings for period dramas.
After becoming independent in 2015, she has expanded her work across Kyoto — including dedicating paintings to temples and shrines, holding regular exhibitions, and providing artwork for advertising and media.
