History
1968 | September Kyoto Toei Bowling Center (24 lanes) opened, which is the predecessor of TOEI Studio Park (Toei Kyoto Studios). |

1974 | May The Kyoto Studios Business Division began reviewing the “Redevelopment Plan of Kyoto Studio”. |
1975 | April As an experiment to promote the Studio Park project, the “One Day Studio Park” was held, which included all of the movie studios. In addition to making the open sets become accessible to the public, events, such as the Edo-style festivals, mock film shoot and movie events took place. It was recorded that about 20,000 people visited. September TOEI Kyoto Studio Co., Ltd. (President Takaiwa Tan) was established. November TOEI Kyoto Studio Park opened. More than 70,000 people had visited during the first 3 days. |
1977 | April New facilities in the Studio Park were completed (Nakamuraza, Otemon, Glass-covered stage, Samurai yashiki residences, etc.). | 1980 | October The number of Studio Park visitors reached over 10 million people. |

2011 | September The largest renovation took place since the opening of the Studio Park. New facilities were established, such as the “Ninja Mystery House”, “Toei Animation Museum”, “Trick Art Museum”, and a new gate “Satsuejyo-guchi”, creating convenient access from JR Uzumasa Station. |
2012 | March The second renovation took place. The “Haunted House” and a new shop, “Chanbara” opened. July “3D 360 degrees theater” opened. November The third renovation took place. “Uzumasa Trick Art Museum” and “Amazing Maze” opened. |
2013 | March The fourth renovation took place. “Ninja Training Dojo” opened. October The fifth renovation took place. “Kyoto Uzumasa Misora Hibari” opened. |
2014 | April The sixth renovation took place. Three major attractions on the 2nd floor of Padios opened: the “Digital Deep Sea Aquarium”, “Kids Land” and “Kamen Rider World”. |
2015 | March The seventh renovation took place. On the 2nd floor of Padios, the “Amazing Maze” and “Kids Land Shinobu Jungle” opened. |
2016 | March The eighth renovation took place. The “Laser Mission ‘Escape the Castle’” opened in the Plaza. |
2017 | March The ninth renovation took place. “Ninja Training Dojo Sword N’GO” opened in the attraction area. |
2019 | March “Ninja climbing ~ SHINOBORI ~" opens on the 2nd floor of the Padios area. October The renovated open set of Yoshiwara street opens. |
